Whether you're taking on friends, family, work colleagues or collaborating with another group, it's the perfect time of year for paintballing - you can give it your all without getting too hot and sweaty in your overalls, and any rains only adds to the adventure!

What should I wear?

Wear old clothing and sturdy footwear suitable for outdoors - game zones and pathways can be slippery, especially if it's been raining, so footwear must have good grip.

Combat overalls and masks are included and additional body armour is available to hire if needed.

Will the paint wash off my clothes?

Although you wear overalls the paint can sometimes seep through to your clothes underneath. However, the paint is water based and should wash off.

Can anyone paintball?

As long as you're at least 10 years old and game for a challenge! We recommend younger participants play with an adult.

Does paintballing hurt?

Many players compare being hit by a paintball to being flicked by a rubber band but everyone's pain tolerance is different.

How much it hurts depends on the speed and distance of the shot and where they hit you! You may have a bruise to remind you of your paintballing experience but any pain should fade after a few seconds.

How many different paintball challenges are there?

There are 6 thrilling battle zones to take on...

Flags - Capture the enemy base and raise their flag while holding off an attack on your own!

Fort - Storm the walls, eliminate the defenders and capture the fort!

Canister - Claim the canister and break enemy lines to plant the canister in their base.

General - Take out the snipers and battle your way through an enemy ambush to get the general to safety!

Old Assault - Enter enemy territory, recover all 6 flags from the battle zone and return them to base.

Survivor - It's every man for himself....until there's just one brave person left standing!

How many paintballs will I need?

We offer packages of 100, 200 and 300 paintballs, with 200 being the most popular. 

What time do sessions run?

Our standard sessions run at 11am & 2pm (April to October) and 11am & 1.30pm (November to March). However, if you'd like a different time slot then get in touch.

Can I book a paintball birthday party?

Yes, we love a paintball birthday party! Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more so give us a call on 01646 652000.

How much is paintballing at Heatherton?

Prices start from £15 (2019) and you'll find full pricing details here. Discounts are offered for groups of 10 or more.

How long does it take?

Paintball games usually last between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the number of people in the group and the time of year.

Is paintballing cancelled if it rains?

Paintball runs in most weather - rain only adds to the challenge!
